Robin
was born and raised in Maryland and goes home to visit her extended
family and friends regularly, but her new home is now the small,
tight-knit community of Key West. She admits she misses autumn
and Maryland blue crabs, but she doesn't miss the traffic or congestion
of big city living. |
Having
grown up in a real estate family, it was a natural step for her
to follow in those footsteps. Originally licensed in 1989 with
a premier real estate agency in the Washington, DC area, Robin
enjoyed interacting with a very diverse community bringing buyers
and sellers together. She enjoyed working with the established
business owners and politicians in the area, but found herself
working primarily with first time homebuyers. The personal satisfaction
of helping people realize their dream of owning a home for the
first time was particularly gratifying to her then as it is still.
Robin moved to Key West in 1996 after a sabbatical in Vancouver
Canada, and decided to continue in the real estate profession
here in Paradise. She became affiliated with At Home in Key West
on July 1, 1998 because it was a small company offering more flexibility
for her professional service. She was offered the opportunity
to become a partner in October 1999, and has enjoyed being a part
of the rapid growth of the agency which still maintains its small
agency attention to its clients. |
